After taking the fall and losing his job as a vice president at a major mortgage fund, Jimmy Adams makes a drastic career change. Once part of a $30 billion hedge fund, he finds himself waiting tables at a 24-hour waffle shop. In the diner’s greasy chaos, he forms an unlikely friendship with Edward, an ex-con grill master who teaches him hard lessons about life, finance, and grits.
