Water for Elephants

During the Depression, impetuous veterinary student Jacob Jankowski takes a job as an animal caretaker with a celebrated traveling circus. Among the performers, he meets Marlena, a beautiful married circus star, and their shared compassion for a special elephant named Rosie draws them closer. As their feelings grow, Marlena’s cruel husband becomes a dangerous obstacle.
