Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

A New England history professor and his wife invite a young couple, newly arrived on the university faculty, for drinks after hours. What begins as a social visit turns increasingly distressing as alcohol loosens old resentments and private truths. Through the night, the hosts draw their guests into the bitterness, dysfunction, and emotional cruelty at the heart of their marriage.
