After years of abuse and lies from their father, Link and his younger brother run away to search for the birth mother they were told they could not find. As they move beyond the life they knew, the brothers meet a new friend who joins them on the road. For Link, the search also becomes a chance to better understand his sexuality and reconnect with his Mi’kmaw heritage.
