In early 1990s New York, as the crack cocaine epidemic shapes daily life, visionary musician Bobby Diggs, also known as The RZA, sets out to bring together a dozen young Black men into a new kind of music group. Torn between the pull of music and the realities of crime, they begin forming what will become Wu-Tang Clan, an unlikely force in American music history.
