In early 1990s New York, at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, visionary musician Bobby Diggs, also known as The RZA, works to bring together a dozen young Black men into a new kind of hip-hop supergroup. Torn between the pull of music and the dangers of crime, they begin forming the Wu-Tang Clan, setting the stage for one of American music’s most unlikely success stories.
