Nine-year-old Sheldon Cooper is a brilliant child genius whose extraordinary mind sets him apart from nearly everyone around him. As he enters high school, his intelligence leaves classmates and adults stumped, while his social difficulties create unique challenges for both Sheldon and his family. This spinoff follows the younger years of the character later seen in The Big Bang Theory.
