Zorba the Greek

A reserved English writer travels to Crete on a business matter, keeping to his careful and restrained way of life. There he meets Alexis Zorba, a warm, outspoken, and gregarious man whose energy stands in sharp contrast to his own. As their lives become connected, Zorba’s bold spirit begins to challenge the writer’s guarded outlook and changes him in lasting ways.
